No anti-wrinkle injections or dermal filler for at least 2–4 weeks prior
No laser resurfacing, chemical peels, microneedling or radiofrequency (RF) treatments for two weeks
Limit excessive sun exposure and tanning for 1–2 weeks, to avoid skin sensitivity and burns
3–5 Days Before
Home care & hydration
Discontinue topical retinoids (Retin-A), Vitamin C and AHAs/BHAs. Drink 8–10 glasses of water daily in the lead-up — well-hydrated skin helps the ultrasound energy penetrate optimally.
24–48 Hours Before
Blood thinners, alcohol & exercise
Avoid anti-inflammatory medication (e.g. ibuprofen) or supplements like fish oil and Vitamin E for 24 hours, unless medically prescribed
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours, and caffeine for 2 hours before your session — both can cause dehydration
Skip strenuous workouts or saunas that cause excessive sweating and inflammation on the day of treatment
Day of Treatment
